For admission to the Master of Human Resources (Extension), prospective students will have one of the following:
A completed undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification; or
Completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with a GPA of at least 5.0.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

This program is designed to provide knowledge and skills in the main areas of operational and strategic Human Resource Management practice.
Content & Structure
The Master of Human Resource Management (Extension) is a 72 unit program, comprised of 16 course of 4.5 units each. The structure for the Master of Human Resource Management (Extension) is as follows: four Division Core courses; eight Human Resource Management core courses; and four elective courses.
1. Subject to the Rules and Notes, students must complete 72 credit units, made up of eight Human Resource Management courses, four courses from the Divisional Core, and four courses from the elective list, unless otherwise approved by the Program Director.
2. Students who have completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with a GPA of at least 5.0 may apply for admission to this program.
3. Students who have equivalent previous studies in a particular course may susbstitute a course of equal value and standing with the approval of the Program Director.

1. This program may be taken part time or full time.
2. Refer to the electives pool for recommendations. A student may take other electives from within the University with the permission of the Program Director.
