To advance knowledge and skills involved with the strategic management of human resources
Course content
Content and nature of strategic Human Resource management. Management of strategy. Labour management strategy and HRM. Best practice, contingency and configurational approaches; life-cycle, industrial organisation and resource-based approaches. Issues about strategic fit. Evaluation and measurement of HRM. Undertaking HRM audits. Factors influencing adoption of strategic HRM.
