Description

Allowing students to combine theory with practice, Film and Television is the study and exploration of the communicative and creative possibilities of film, television, video and other associated media forms. Ranging from the production of documentaries and dramas through to short films, music videos and animation, its focus is on the critically and aesthetically informed creation of media products and the establishment of technical, organisational and director/producer expertise relevant to film, television, video and multimedia projects.

  1. A Sub-Major in Film and Television consists of six courses (27 units), two at Level 1 and four at Level 2 or Level 3.
  2. A Minor in Film and Television consists of four courses (18 units), two of which must be at Level 1 and two at Level 2.
