To develop the creative and critical possibilities of experimental film, television and video and other related production and performance work.
Students engage in the theories and practices of key experimental film directors. Students explore form and content in experimental film practice and refer to the traditions of the past that inform current developments. The course fosters students' development as a filmmakers by encouraging their creativity in interpreting past practices.
