Master of Management (Marketing)
You’re considered an International student if you are a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
In this degree you will learn contemporary management skills and study areas such as marketing strategy and planning. You will gain the confidence to manage organisations and achieve business objectives in an efficient and effective manner.
You will be immersed in real-world challenges and have access to industry placements, overseas study tours and elective courses to suit your personal and professional development needs. During your studies you will develop an advanced understanding of business and management and graduate with the capabilities to be a successful leader and decision-maker in any business setting.
Our summer and winter schools offer exciting study and learning opportunities. With options such as intensives and internships, you can spread your study load across the year, increase your exchange opportunities or fast track your degree.
The Master of Management (Marketing) comprises 12 courses. You will complete four Business School core courses and four Marketing specialisation courses. Through these you will develop skills and expertise in areas that include:
You will also complete four postgraduate electives – two from your specialisation and two from the Business School. They will enable you to develop skills from selected key disciplines essential for management in business.
For each course you study, you will need to allocate time for various classes such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars and practicals. Plus you will need additional hours to study in your own time to complete assignments, readings and projects and contribute to online discussion forums. So as a general rule, if you are studying full-time you would need to allocate 12 – 26 hours of study when at university and 14 – 28 hours of independent study per week.
Your studies at UniSA will incorporate both practical, professionally-focused and research-based learning, so assessment types will vary. You can expect them to include:
