This degree will develop your knowledge of the global business environment and enable you to maximise your career development opportunities and employment prospects. You will benefit from a range of experience-based learning opportunities, including overseas study and business mentoring by a senior business leader through the Executive Partners Program.
Your studies will focus on international business strategy, international trade, marketing across borders, and international human resource management – the knowledge you will need to accelerate your career as a business professional in an international context.
This degree comprises 16 courses and several electives. You will start with seven core courses common to all specialisations in the International MBA. Through these you will develop advanced skills and expertise in areas of international management including:
You will then move into your marketing specialisation studying areas such as buyer behaviour insights, brand management, and marketing strategy and planning. You will also complete your study with a capstone course in strategy and ethics.
This two-year MBA provides professionals with the advanced knowledge and management skills for international business. It does not require previous work experience.
You will learn about business strategy, international trade, marketing across borders and global human resource management. Courses are designed in consultation with industry professionals, so you’ll learn through real-life case studies and develop the knowledge and expertise you need to address today’s global business challenges.

With an International Master of Business Administration you will be equipped to pursue an international business career worldwide. You can access our online International Application System through our How to Apply page. The International Application System is an easy and secure online application and acceptance process. You will have visibility of your application through the secure online portal with the ability to download offer documents, submit your acceptance and make a payment.

Postgraduate study by research

There is no closing date for submitting your application however the admissions process takes between one and three weeks from the date that we receive your application and all required supporting documentation.
If you are completing an Australian year 12 qualification in Australia or overseas, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Australia, you must apply through SATAC. Key dates for applications can be found here.
You may be eligible to receive credit or advanced standing for your chosen UniSA degree based on your previous studies, if they are in a related area at an equivalent or higher level. Receiving credit will reduce the number of courses you undertake within the degree, and may also reduce the overall duration of your degree.
The amount of credit you may be eligible to receive is assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Admissions team.
