Applicants are required to meet one of the following criteria with a competitive result, and demonstrate that they fulfil any prerequisite requirements and essential requirements for admission:
Recent secondary education
Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent
AND
Applicants who have not achieved the Selection Rank required for automatic selection may be selected for any remaining places based on the grades of their year 12 subjects.

The Bachelor of Arts program offers the possibility to combine generalist skills and specialist training in a double major combination. Students select their majors from the following: Aboriginal Studies, Creative Writing and Literature, Applied Linguistics, Sociology, Languages, English Language, Screen Studies, Performing Arts, Social Media, History and Global Politics, Cultural Studies or Psychology.
This degree ensures a thorough grounding for many careers and offers a traditional pathway, through further qualification, to professions such as education and law. Employers value Bachelor of Arts graduates for their abilities to gather and assess information, think critically, and communicate clearly and creatively. The broad base of the degree, with its double major and minor, equips graduates to find employment in a variety of sectors.
