A recognised university undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualifications and a minimum of two years full time relevant work experience; or
A Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with an average of at least Pass Level 1 (55%) from the International Graduate School of Business at the University of South Australia or an equivalent qualification from other schools within the University of South Australia or from another recognised university; or
A Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with an average of at least Pass Level 1 (55%) across at least four courses from the International Graduate School of Business within the University of South Australia or from another recognised university.
All applicants are required to submit two referee reports and a detailed curriculum vitae outlining managerial and executive experience.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

This program is designed to further develop motivated men and women for senior leadership positions in organisations operating in international business environments with an emphasis on information systems.
Content & Structure
The MBA is an intensive program of 54 units comprising 12 constituent courses and a structured Commencement Seminar.
1. Electives are chosen from the elective pool in consultation with the Program Director and are subject to prerequisites, corequisites, timetabling, minimum class sizes and contractual arrangements with partner institutions. Not all courses may be available in one calendar year. Where there is a choice of elective or specialty course, students of the Master of Business Administration can choose any approved postgraduate elective course - subject to the Program Director's approval. The Program Director may also approve elective courses from other postgraduate programs offered by this or another university.
2. Academic performance will be monitored by the IGSB Board of Examiners. Students are limited to 2 supplementary assessments within the Master of Business Administration.
3. All students are required to attend a structured Commencement Seminar. No grade is awarded for this.

The following specialty streams may be available in Adelaide depending on demand and may be available in some offshore locations: Health Services; Marketing; Finance; Information Systems; Human Resource Management; Property Management; Entrepreneurship; Sustainable Business (online); and Accounting. Additional streams may become available. Contact the Program Director for information about streams and specialty courses. Specialty courses will be chosen from the postgraduate course offerings within the IGSB and other schools and divisions of the University, in consultation with other postgraduate program directors as appropriate.
4. The Master of Business Administration is designed as a nested program, with credit transfers and articulation pathways from the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
5. Subject to demand and various contractual arrangements, the IGSB may offer electives as detailed in the prescribed available electives. In addition, specialty stream electives and new electives will be made available as required.
