Course aim

This course aims to provide students with an understanding of human resources management (HRM) and organisational behaviour (OB), and how leadership plays the critical role in shaping HRM practices (e.g., recruitment and selection, managing performance, reward, and job design), and influence organisational behaviour (e.g., motivation, job satisfaction, safety, health and wellbeing). This course aims to provide students with conceptual and practical tools that they can apply as practising managers and leaders in business and industry to the strategic use of human assets in organisations.
