This course builds on the basic principles and knowledge developed in the course, Accounting for Decision Making. The aims are to develop understanding of finance theories and to master the skills involved in applying financial analytical techniques to real world situations.
This course will introduce students to important managerial finance ideas and concepts including: Financial concepts, securities valuation, project evaluation, risk and return, asset pricing models, cost of capital, financing decisions, capital structure, dividend decisions.
