Entry requirements

Entrants to the program shall normally hold one of the following:
- A completed Bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or
- A completed Advanced Diploma (or Associate Degree) plus 2 years relevant work experience; or
- A completed Diploma and 4 years relevant work experience; or
- 5 years relevant work experience.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Aim

This program provides an introduction to contemporary marketing knowledge.

Content & Structure

The program consists of a total of 18 units and can be completed within 6 months of fulltime study. The program is also available for part time study.

1. Students who have a background, or previous studies in a particular course may substitute a course of equal value and standing with the approval of the Program Director.

Notes

1. Marketing electives should be chosen from the list of prescibed elective courses. Note: Not all elective courses are available every study period. Business electives are chosen from postgraduate courses in the Division of Business for which the student has satisfied the prerequisites.

2. This is a full fee-paying program. Applications should be directed to the School of Marketing.

3. The program can be completed within 6 months of fulltime study. Students should obtain a program timetable from the Program Director.
