Applicants with work and life experience are those who left secondary education more than two years ago (i.e. who are not classified as recent secondary education applicants) and have not undertaken vocational education training (VET) or higher education study since then.

Eligibility

To be eligible for selection into a UniSA degree, diploma or associate degree program, you are required to have fulfilled any prerequisite requirements and other academic requirements for the degree and one of the following:

Your Selection Rank (ATAR) is your ATAR including any adjustment factors.

In addition to the standard criteria above, applicants for Commonwealth supported undergraduate places in degrees offered via UniSA Online may be selected for entry on the basis of an online literacy and numeracy test and relevant work experience.

UniSA College

UniSA College offer alternate pathways into university where students build academic and personal confidence while being guided by support and teaching staff in state-of-the-art facilities.

You can study Foundation Studies, a range of Diplomas and Undergraduate Certificates with online and part-time study options and the Aboriginal Pathway Program. With the support of the UniSA College staff, you can be set up for success while making the transition into your desired degree.

Do you have Year 12 Results?

You can still use your year 12 results for entry into UniSA degrees, even if you completed year 12 more than two years ago, as long as you have not completed more than two years of equivalent full-time study at a higher education institution. As you will be competing against the recent secondary education students, you will need to check if your results are competitive with the current year 12 Selection Ranks. If you are not sure, contact the Future Student Enquiries team for advice.
