Description

This major/sub-major/minor provides students with professional skills in using specialist software for layout, Web design, graphics and image-editing, together with scanning and digital photography, for print and Web publishing; a theoretical understanding of visual form and message, the differences in design elements for print and Web, and the communicative aspects of digital publishing for business, marketing, public relations, journalism and educational purposes.

Notes

  1. A Sub-Major in Digital Design consists of six courses (27 units), two of which must be at Level 1, three at Level 2 and one at Level 3.
  2. A Minor in Digital Design consists of four courses (18 units), two of which must be at Level 1 and two at Level 2.
  3. Students enrolling in INFT 2002 Electronic Publishing on the Internet must first complete INFT 1014 Introduction to Digital Media.
  4. Prequisites may apply.
