Course aim

To build upon the theory and practice presented in INFT 2002 and enable students to understand the terms, concepts, techniques, processes and skills involved in designing interactive websites.

Course content

Students will further develop their knowledge of different requirements when designing effective interactive websites including information and navigation structures, visual and aural information in online environments.   They will further develop their understanding of the vocabulary of website graphics design and visual language, the role of design in enhancing communicability and the aesthetic appeal of websites. Students will apply their knowledge and skills by using industry-standard web design software to  produce effective interactive websites.
