Flexible study options

UniSA's range of flexible study options allows you to study at your own pace and in your preferred environment.

Whether you study as a full-time or part-time student, our range of courses available in on-campus and online mode, together with evening classes and intensive delivery options, will help you strike the right balance between your work, life and sporting commitments.

Flexible study options include:

  • Online study
Some degrees can be studied partially or completely online. View which postgraduate studies are available online here.
  • Part-time study
A part-time study load is anything less than 75% of a normal full-time annual study load.
  • Mixed-mode attendance
Completing some of your studies on-campus and online at the same time.
  • Intensive study
Usually completed full time over a few weeks during summer or winter school.

The options available vary between programs, so make sure you visit the program information page for each program you are considering to explore your options.

You may also like to consider the study options available through UniSA Online - 100% online, career-focused degrees which give you full control and ultimate flexibility over your study.

Advice & Support

At any stage of your study, you can come to us for advice and guidance. We offer an extensive range of services, resources and tools to help you plan your study around your sporting commitments.

We understand that it can sometimes be difficult for you to meet attendance requirements for classes, placements and exams. That’s why at UniSA we have flexibility and special circumstances provisions for elite athletes and performing artists built into our policies.

We will support you in negotiating the flexibility you need when it comes to attendance, taking leave, cross-institutional study, or meeting other academic requirements.

Whether it’s planning your timetable, working out how and when to sit your exams, or exploring study options - we’re here to help!

Please send all requests to askCampusCentral@unisa.edu.au.
