1. Students are required to attend a 2-week on-campus workshop at Mawson Lakes. The workshop must be undertaken during the program of study. Students must complete all activities for the workshop in order to become eligible to graduate.
1. This is a Bachelor conversion program for polytechnic graduates with relevant industrial experience of at least one year. Students with a recognised diploma plus relevant industrial experience will normally be granted credit for the first two years of the program and the 0-unit course MENG 3007 Industrial Experience.
2. Candidates with relevant work experience may apply for additional credit up to a maximum of 18 units for the four elective courses in the final year. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Those students who are granted less than the maximum number of specified credit (18 units) will be required to undertake additional units of study in order to complete program requirements.
3. To determine the amount of additional credit, students are to address the learning outcomes for four of the elective courses by submitting a detailed Industry Experience Report. There may be exceptional cases where students have addressed learning outcomes relevant to the degree which may cross over several or none of these electives. In these instances the specified credit will be granted for Elective 1 or Elective 2.
4. Students can undertake courses from other programs or institutions as electives subject to Program Director approval.
5. This program includes elective courses. A list of elective courses is available from the UniSA website via http://www.unisanet.unisa.edu.au/programs. The selection will be subject to availability and satisfaction of pre-requisite requirements.
6. Due to program development, program schedules may change.
