Aim

The program prepares students for careers in a wide range of resource management agencies and industries and equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to take a leadership role and responsibility in those organisations.

Content & Structure

The Masters program requires the completion of 54 units of courses selected from one of the streams Water Management or Natural Resource Management. Students taking the Natural Resource Management stream can complete either:

  • four core courses (18 units), Environmental Research Project 1 and Environmental Research Project 2 (18 units), and four Natural Resource Management electives (18 units); OR 
  • four core courses (18 units), four Natural Resource Management electives (18 units), and four electives from the Master of Environmental Management and Sustainability (Water Management).
