Course aim

To reinforce and further develop the principles of Sustainable Urban Design through their application to local projects.

Course content

Sustainable Urban Design as an inclusive, multi-disciplinary and collaborative process; the identification and analysis of urban and ecological processes; the evolution of sustainable urban living environments; the application of principles of Sustainable Urban Design to existing cities and towns; the development of a strategic approach to long term sustainability that informs design proposals for immediate action.
