Applicants to the program are normally required to hold a completed university degree or equivalent professional qualification. AND
applicants will normally have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in commerce, industry or a public sector organisation. OR
applicants who have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Communication (Public Relations) will be considered for entry without the two years of relevant experience.
The aim of this program is to provide professional development education for graduates pursuing careers involving the management of public communication and media relations objectives and campaigns in organisations operating in a global context. The program is designed for professional practitioners as well as the managers of such professional practice.
Content & Structure
The program comprises 54 units of study. It is an intensive program made up of eight courses of 4.5 units (36 units) and a graduate case study combined with a research methods course (totalling 18 units).
1. In accordance with University policy, credit may be granted for previous study of up to one-third of the total units
2. The program will be offered on a full-time and part-time basis. The program follows a prescribed formula, with no opportunity for optional or elective study.
