To provide students with the opportunity to consolidate and apply their reflective, research and professional knowledge, understandings and skills as student-teachers.
Students will undertake supervised placements where they will apply their skills developed throughout their program to demonstrate that they meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at a Graduate level. The learning of the students incorporates a knowledge of the Australian Curriculum in developing curriculum planning, assessing and reporting skills and designing, implementing and reporting research, collaboration with professional teams, multi-skilling of professionals, workplace context, roles and responsibilities and reflection on action, beliefs informing practice and social justice implications, teacher wellbeing, legal and ethical responsibilities of teachers, partnerships with parents/caregivers, career development, early career resiliency collecting, critically analysing and presenting data on professional practice.
