To introduce pre-service arts educators (generalist or specialist) to practice-based research in arts education as a component of professional learning through a student-led process of inquiry.
Students will reflect on current knowledge, skills, and understanding in arts education as a component of professional learning with reference to AITSL standards. Students will critically review current issues in arts education (in the areas of curriculum, pedagogy, policy), and undertake a literature review focusing on an area of personal interest for potential research.
