1. Students wishing to take the Accounting specialisation may need to complete an additional course to meet requirements for professional recognition.
1. The program comprises: core courses; courses from specialisation 1; and courses from specialisation 2.
2. These courses in the Accounting specialisation can be taken as part of the Electives in other specialisations, reducing the total number of courses required.
3. This course should be replaced with Corporate Finance if Accounting is taken as the second specialisation.
4. Marketing electives should be chosen from the prescribed list of courses. Note: Not all elective courses are available every study period.
5. Electives should be chosen from courses offered by the Division of Business and in a related discipline and approved by the Program Director.
6. Credit will not be granted for courses in this program. Students who have taken for another award, a course which is substantially equivalent to a course from the program schedule, must substitute a course of equal standing and unit value, with the approval of the Program Director.
7. If the Accounting specialisation is taken, ACCT 5011 Accounting for Management M should be replaced with ACCT 5023 Financial Accounting Fundamentals.
8. Students completing the Double Masters program will receive a parchment for each of the single masters programs.
9. Students may exit this program and receive the qualification of the program for which they meet the requirements. This award may be at graduate certificate, graduate diploma or masters level depending on the studies undertaken by the student.
