Applicants are required to have one of the following:
- A completed bachelor degree in a business related discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or
- A completed bachelor degree which includes a major in business, commerce, marketing or management; or
- A completed graduate certificate or higher qualification in a business related discipline from a recognised higher education institution.
English language entry requirements
International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Aim

This program provides students with advanced knowledge in the general management of business and organisations, encompassing the applied skills of leading, planning, coordinating and allocating resources to achieve business objectives.

Content & Structure

To qualify for the award students must complete 54 units, made up of four Management specialisation courses, four program core courses, two Management specialisation electives and two UniSA Business electives to make a total of twelve courses. The program is also available for part time study.

Rules & notes

Rules

1. This is a capstone course and must be completed as the last course in the program.

2. Students undertaking the Transition to Masters pathway between the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or Bachelor of Business (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) or Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) and Master of Management program will receive credit for this course.

3. This course must be an advanced level course. See Business Electives list for options.

1. To be selected from the specialisation elective list or may be used to complete an international exchange, internship or UniSA Business electives approved by the Program Director.

2. This program may be undertaken in fast-track mode and completed in less than 12 months.
