Aim

The Graduate Certificate in Film and Television aims to prepare students for employment as professional film and television practitioners in the local and global screen content industry.

Content & Structure

The Graduate Certificate in Film and Television is comprised of four 4.5 unit courses that are undertaken concurrently over a 12 week period.

Students are introduced to the creative and business aspects of the industry through immersion in industry workflow practices and productions. Practical skills will be developed by students including generating and developing market aligned ideas, writing and pitching proposals, undertaking various production roles and responsibilities required of a busy film and television company and developing industry-standard skills as they produce high-quality screen content.

From 4 August 2025, the University of South Australia will no longer be accepting applications for new students. Study at Adelaide University.
