Entry requirements
Applicants should normally hold an undergraduate degree, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management or Graduate Certificate in Project Management (Assets and Facilities), or a recognised equivalent qualification. Selection is based on academic merit.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Aim

This program provides motivated graduates from diverse disciplinary backgrounds an advanced understanding of project management best practice as adopted by many government and industry sectors worldwide.

The program requires the completion of eight 4.5 unit courses making a total of 36 units. Courses are listed in the program schedule.

1. All students must take the following courses: Strategic Asset Management (BUSS 5256) and Principles of Project Management A (BUSS 5142).

2. Courses in the Assets and Facilities stream may be substituted by other Project Management courses subject to the guidance of the Program Director.

3. Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Project Management program, or equivalent program will receive credit, subject to approval of the Program Director.

4. The program is available full-time one year or part-time over two or more years.
