To provide students with an understanding of the management of facilities and asset management departments and consulting service providers, the financial implications of infrastructure purchase and the maintenance management of facilities management service contracts.
Management of facilities management departments. Facilities management consulting services, contracts, contract design and management, contract administration, handover procedures. The monitoring and assessment of contract performance, time, cost, quality, client satisfaction, financial, systems and processes. Managing cash flow, understanding GST and taxation implication in facilities and asset management and preparing financial cases.
