To apply specialised evidence based clinical knowledge of pathology and mastery of skills of assessment, analysis of findings, planning, intervention and evaluation required for client centred rehabilitation physiotherapy practice.
Students will apply the clinical knowledge and skills required for rehabilitation physiotherapy practice across the lifespan.
Students will apply advanced knowledge of the causes and mechanisms of abnormal movement, the pathophysiology and sequelae of a wide range of congenital, chronic and degenerative conditions requiring physiotherapy input in a rehabilitation setting.
Students will develop and apply the physiotherapy of skills of assessment, application of outcome measures, analysis of findings, planning, intervention and evaluation relevant to conditions they encounter on placement.
Implementation of evidence-based practice, culturally responsive care and communication within interprofessional practice, relevant to rehabilitation settings for individuals across the lifespan.
