To develop a deep understanding of the pedagogical content knowledge needed for quality teaching of the Australian Curriculum: HaSS.
Students will study units of work appropriate for learners from Reception to Year 6 to enable them to develop a creative, rigorous and engaging approach to the teaching of the content and skills of the HaSS learning area. They will learn about the inquiry approach of the HaSS learning area and the importance of conceptual learning to develop critical and creative thinking.
