Course aim

To develop a deep, conceptual and foundational content knowledge in both civics and citizenship and economics and business enabling them to apply and integrate these two subjects into the teaching of History and Geography.

Course content

Students will further develop a valid, practical and engaging approach to integrating the content and skills of these subjects into the history and geography curriculum in a meaningful and educationally valid manner. They will study units of work that will provide deep understanding of the content, concepts and skills of the Australian Curriculum: Civics and Citizenship and Business and Economics. Links to other subjects within HaSS will be apparent through the use of out of school activities and the like.
