To enable students to undertake a detailed, self-directed and scholarly investigation of a digital teaching and learning issue or topic that is relevant to their teaching interests.
Students will develop knowledge and skills that underpin the scholarship of teaching and learning and apply these to a critically-informed case study which will form their negotiated project in digital learning. They will develop knowledge and skills associated with the production of a literature review to support their work. They will become familiar with a range of suitable research approaches to investigate a theoretical and/or applied educational problem of their choosing. Students will discuss and apply appropriate ethical perspectives and considerations associated with the chosen project. Students will understand the range of formats available for the presentation of their work to academic audiences.
