To develop specialized pedagogic knowledge of and professional practice in digital learning environments focusing on connectivity, communication, collaboration and convergence through the use of digital technologies.
Students will critically analyse, reflect on and synthesize the history of digital learning and its evolution for distance education; critically analyse the impact of policy on approaches to digital learning; research and synthesize relevant contemporary learning theories; and research and apply the knowledge, skills and principles of learning through connectivity, communication, collaboration and convergence to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
