This advanced level course provides students with the opportunity to participate in an industry practicum. It aims to enhance students’ professional competencies and interpersonal skills and their business consulting and applied research skills. The course also promotes individual responsibility for professional development.
Pre-practicum orientation incorporating but not limited to professional conduct, ethical responsibilities, student and employer responsibilities, and occupational health and safety practice; practical professionally-relevant experience in a work experience practicum; supervision and report by workplace mentor; critical reflection on contribution of workplace experience to development of professional competencies.

36 units postgraduate coursework and minimum 4.5 GPA, or at the discretion of Course Coordinator. Students who have completed a postgrad level practicum or internship are not eligible to enrol in this course, unless approved by the Program Director.
