To introduce pre-service arts educators (generalist or specialist) to practice-based research in arts education as a component of professional learning through a student-led process of inquiry.
Students will reflect on current knowledge, skills, and understanding in arts education as a component of professional learning with reference to AITSL standards. They will undertake a critical review of current issues in arts education (in the areas of curriculum, pedagogy, policy) in order to identify a suitable topic for a student-led inquiry.
