To further extend students’ capability in spoken and written communication in English as an Additional (second or foreign) Language, at a developed level.
The students will further develop academic and professional use of English, particularly for students who are specialising in the study of English and who intend to work in English-speaking countries. Students will extend their expertise in critical reading, writing and analysis; and other dimensions of research and writing in English. The course includes intercultural strategies; professional vocabulary and terminology; grammatical concepts and structures; development of hypotheses and arguments; and relevant text-types.
