Construction methods for residential and non-residential buildings including the building industry organisational structure; building terminology, building regulations and the application of the Building Code of Australia; the sequence of the building process and actors involved; evaluation of structures and finishes of domestic and
large-scale buildings, including high rise buildings; common residential and commercial building faults; building services such as electrical services and energy management in large scale buildings; HVAC; telecommunications and building operations technology; hydraulic services; vertical transport; active and passive life safety systems; ageing populations and building issues.
