Modern managers are skilled problem solvers, they organise people, manage money and leverage technology to achieve business objectives. They are global problem solvers, at the forefront of international business. This degree recognises industry requirements and accommodates current business trends. More importantly, it will provide you with the skills to address emerging issues and help you recognise the need for innovation throughout your career.

There are two intakes per year (March and August). Students are generally expected to complete the degree requirements in 3 years.

Students may attend a graduation ceremony in Adelaide or Hong Kong and will be sent an invite to their student email.

  • Account director: managing client relationships; preparing project briefs; managing the production of workflow; managing internal and external communication
  • Business analyst: interpreting data and reporting on it; making recommendations based on research findings; applying qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data
  • Business and workplace adviser: applying an in-depth understanding of business principles and practices; guiding and supporting business owners; providing specialist advice on growth and organisational efficiency
  • Business development manager: working with business and advising on business plans; advising on investment, finance and marketing strategies; analysing domestic and global economic factors on business; advising businesses on growth opportunities
  • General manager: planning and directing the operations of companies or public and private sector organisations; duties can include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources

Transferring to Adelaide

Students have the option to transfer to UniSA’s Adelaide campus to complete their program.

Your program director

Prior to joining UniSA, I have had more than 20 years’ experience in business as a professional architect managing the design and project management of large and complex building projects. At UniSA I am responsible for the design, management and delivery of a number of postgraduate courses. My area of research interest is in strategic knowledge management to support organisational sustainability in times of change and disruptions.
