To develop advanced knowledge and management skills in the operation and evaluation of a physiotherapy service. This course provides direct exposure to best practice principles in clinical physiotherapy, management, education and communication appropriate for provision of health care in musculoskeletal settings.
Students will apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills in musculoskeletal practice across the lifespan. This course provides direct physiotherapy best practice experience of a health service delivery rehabilitation model. Under supervision, students will be required to organise and manage all aspects of best practice patient care including an evidence-based approach to clinical interventions, monitoring of progress using appropriate outcome measures, administration including appointments and ongoing referral and education using current interactive technologies.
