Course aim

To apply specialised evidence based clinical knowledge of pathology and mastery of skills, assessment, analysis of findings, planning, intervention and evaluation required for musculoskeletal community client centred physiotherapy practice in a musculoskeletal setting.

Course content

Students will apply clinical knowledge and skills required for musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice across the lifespan. Students will learn and demonstrate the assessment and management of a variety of peripheral and vertebral musculoskeletal conditions relevant for individuals across the lifespan. Students will implement skills in clinical reasoning, client education, culturally responsive care, medico-legal issues and record keeping.
