Course aim

To critically examine key aspects of the impact and challenges of globalisation and regional interdependence, including economic growth, sustainability issues and continuing poverty and inequality.

Course content

Students will build on broader view of globalisation & Asian regionalism, historical East and West conquest. Students will also build on knowledge of  postwar global economic systems, forces of globalisation and their impact, Asia’s regional integration,  globalisation and technology, transport & communication, women, global insecurities, globalisation, development and sustainability.
