The aim of this course is to instil a clear understanding of the concepts of knowledge management in the form of decision support systems, executive information systems and expert systems in a business environment and to provide students with both theoretical and practical experiences in the applications suited to knowledge management systems in an organisation.
The course will cover the following areas: Overview of principles of knowledge management, knowledge market, dynamic theory, knowledge mapping, knowledge management technology, knowledge management projects, implementation of knowledge management, infrastructure analysis, design and development, knowledge management team and future of knowledge management.
