This course is designed to expose students to the key determinants of the global business environment. It examines how the macro business environment is shaped by the interaction between globalisation/regionalisation and governments and international agencies such as the World Trade Organisation. It then identifies how the global business environment may influence business strategy and operations in the international arena, culminating in the analysis of corporate capabilities essential for participation in international business.
