Course aim

To introduce students to a theoretical and practical understanding of communication issues and strategies in the current organisational context.

Course content

Communication concepts and theories, intercultural communication, non-verbal communication, listening, intra- and interpersonal communication, organisational communication, presentations and public speaking, groups and teams in organisations, principles of business writing, business correspondence, employment communication, computer-mediated communication, emerging communication trends.
