Course aim

To introduce students to knowledge-based paradigms and their engineering applications. The course is suitable for engineering and science students.

Course content

Introduction to knowledge-based paradigms, expert systems, knowledge representation, uncertainties, artificial neural networks, learning algorithms, fuzzy systems, genetic algorithms, multi-agent systems, case studies.
NOTE: conceded and terminating passes will be available to undergraduates taking this course but not to postgraduates.
