To enable students to develop an understanding of the nature and functions of administrative information systems project management and its role in the corporate business environment, with particular emphasis on the practical learning experience in effectively managing, and completing an industry project plan.
Introduction of project management concepts; project evaluation and risk, project planning and control; the principles of planning and scheduling techniques. Project proposals; Role of the project manager; Resource negotiation and conflict resolution techniques; Budgeting and cost estimating; Resource allocation; Advanced techniques for monitoring and control of project operations and relationships including soft systems methodologies.
