Course aim

To develop skills in critical analysis and the ability to interpret the significance of current events using theories of international relations.

Course content

Theories of International Relations; the relation between theory and practice; debates between realism and liberalism; English School and critical theories; constructivist and feminist theories; case studies of international and civil wars.
