Course aim

To introduce core concepts and methods in the field of International Studies with a focus on peace, war and international politics.

Course content

Introduction to International Studies; understanding international politics; critical perspectives on global turmoil, security and defence, terrorism and 9/11, armed conflict, nationalism, ethnicity and religion; peaceful conflict resolution; and ethics in an international context.
