Course aim

To apply theories of learning, motivation and instructional design to training and development of people in organisations.

Course content

Learning in the changing workplace; the training professional's role; learning organisations and knowledge management; strategic training; analysis and assessment of training needs; theories of adult learning and motivation; design and delivery of training programs; managing a training session; measuring and evaluating outcomes; e-learning and implications of learning and performance support in the workplace.
