Almost every innovation in today’s world – from turning on a light switch to supplying entire communities with power – has an aspect of engineering.

Undergraduate engineering studies at UniSA incorporate strong theoretical teaching with experience-based learning, including 12-week internships and industry standard facilities, to offer the ideal academic blend. Our aim is to produce graduates with the skills to work creatively and sustainably in modern enterprise.

Choose from undergraduate specialisations in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering. All four-year engineering degrees include an honours year and are accredited by Engineers Australia.

Postgraduate students are supported by our engineering research – ranked well above world class1 – and our extensive industry connections and experience.

I did not choose engineering but engineering chose me; I have always been in love with math and physics and after finishing high school I realised that nothing but engineering would satisfy my love to these topics. While studying I completed the Santos Vacation Program, where I worked in Brisbane for three months with a team of engineers looking at the maintenance tasks of newly built gas compressor stations.
