This program is for students living and studying in Hong Kong. It is managed by The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) in collaboration with the University of South Australia.

It is a highly interactive, contemporary and internationally focused program. It will provide you with the tools to fast-track your executive career, create your own opportunities and succeed in today’s modern business environment.

The degree is designed to provide students with the fundamental skills for managing a business and in-depth exposure to current business issues, trends and challenges. The program gathers a community of professionals and offers the opportunity to share management and business experiences from a strategic perspective.

There are 3 annual intakes and the degree is delivered over 3 study periods per year. Students generally complete the degree requirements in two years. Students may attend a graduation ceremony or presentation of awards ceremony in Adelaide or Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) is a non-profit organisation aimed at advancing management excellence in Hong Kong. HKMA is committed to providing continuing development opportunities for local executives. They offer management education programs ranging from short courses and workshops through to Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees. Over 2,000 courses are offered to some 40,000 participants from different business sectors every year.

There are three study streams in UniSA’s Master of Business Administration offered through HKMA. They are Finance, Human Resource Management and Marketing.

What you Learn

The Master of Business Administration (Finance) is made up of nine core business courses in areas such as entrepreneurship and innovation; accounting for decision making; ethics, governance and sustainability; and responsible leadership for growth.

You will also study two advanced finance courses focusing on investment management and international finance. You will complete your Master with a strategic research project in finance.

    There are a number of ways to apply to study UniSA's undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees.

    You can access our online International Application System through our How to Apply page. The International Application System is an easy and secure online application and acceptance process. You will have visibility of your application through the secure online portal with the ability to download offer documents, submit your acceptance and make a payment.

    Alternatively you can submit an application through one of the University's registered Education Agents.

    If you are completing an Australian year 12 qualification in Australia or overseas, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Australia, you must apply through SATAC http://www.satac.edu.au/.

    There is no closing date for submitting your application however the admissions process takes between one and three weeks from the date that we receive your application and all required supporting documentation.

  • What credit can I receive for previous studies? minus-thick plus-thick

    You may be eligible to receive credit or advanced standing for your chosen UniSA degree based on your previous studies, if they are in a related area at an equivalent or higher level. Receiving credit will reduce the number of courses you undertake within the degree, and may also reduce the overall duration of your degree.

    The amount of credit you may be eligible to receive is assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Admissions team.

    The best way to determine your eligibility to receive credit or advanced standing is to apply using our International Application System which can be found on our How to Apply page. You will need to supply detailed syllabus documents with your application.
