Aim

The Master of Engineering (Civil and Water Resources Management) aims to provide graduates and current practitioners with an advanced level of knowledge and skills in a range of areas relevant to the water sector of Civil Engineering.

Content & Structure

The program requires completion of 27 units of core courses and 9 units of elective courses in water resources management. On completion of these courses students should be able to:

  • Apply and synthesise water and environmental engineering theories in solving practical cases
  • Create and design models to be used in areas such as water resources and water quality management
  • Adapt hydro - environmental data analysis methods at advanced level
  • Integrate modelling technology and consolidate GIS applications in forming comprehensive water resources management systems
  • Develop advanced skills to communicate with water and environmental related professionals
